Trouble is, the UK nursing homes have had an excellent reputation. So, when an elderly family member finally goes to the home, family members rarely visit -- if ever.
They have funky laws over there. Weird resident rights stuff too- nothing like we have for sure! Nationalized health care doesn't mean good health care. Sadly.
